Year 7

Year 8

Term 1 (Autumn)

Rivers: Importance of rivers, features of a drainage basin and how does it work, features of a river’s long profile, erosion and transportation, waterfalls, operating across meanders, floodplains, causes of flooding within drainage basins, managing flood risk, flood events in the UK, responding to flood events, flood events in a developing country.

Year 9

Term 1 (Autumn)
